ABOUT
The Managing Director, Mr Ted Smith (BSc (Hons), Grad. Dip. Bushfire Planning and Design), has a wealth of experience gained from over 30 years of experience in sustainable natural resource management gained in a professional environment from working within NSW Government Agencies, and from managing PEAK LAND MANAGEMENT PTY LTD. Specific expertise and qualifications have been gained in bush fire assessment, flora & fauna survey, land restoration and threatened species assessments, soil and agricutural land assessment.
PEAK LAND MANAGEMENT PTY LTD is a reputable business with many clients returning time after time. The business’s underlying ethics include a commitment to producing professional work, timeliness, cost effectiveness and honesty.
Ted is a Bushfire BPAD Certified Level 3 Practitioner, recognised by the NSW Rural Fire Service, and able to undertake more detailed bushfire modelling, alternate solutions, subdivision planning, etc.
Ted is also a qualified and certified Ecologist being an Accredited Biodiversity Assessment Method Assessor (BAM Assessor) with the NSW Government (OEH), and consultant memeber of the NSW Ecological Association.
This experience enables a thorough and integrated assessment of sites where both bush fire & ecological issues arise, in order to achieve the best development and/or conservation outcomes.
